MTV VMA 2022, vincitori: bene Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Lil Nas X e Nicki Minaj (un premio anche per i Maneskin)

MTV VMA 2022, stasera dalle 2 di notte andrà in onda in diretta con il consueto pre-show a partire da 00.30. Un appuntamento da non perdere per gli appassionati che potranno scoprire -live- chi porterà a casa il premio per ogni singola categoria. I più nominati sono Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, Harry Styles, Doja Cat e Kendrick Lamar.

MTV VMA 2022, riassunto della serata, ecco cosa è successo (con l’ombra della censura)

Si è conclusa da poco l’edizione 2022 degli Mtv Vma e a vincere il premio più ambito, quello del Video of the year, è stata Taylor Swift (che ha ottenuto altri riconoscimenti durante la serata). Per lei, una grande rivincita visto il lavoro di ri-registrazione dei suoi album, dopo lo scontro con Scooter Braun per i diritti delle canzoni.  All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) ha fatto incetta di premi durante la diretta, con l’entusiasmo del pubblico presente in sala. E lei, al termine dell’ultimo discorso, ha anche annunciato la data di rilascio del suo prossimo disco, il 21 ottobre 2022. I dettagli saranno comunicati da mezzanotte, ora americana.

Bene anche Harry Styles che ha ottenuto ottimi riscontri grazie al suo singolo “As it was” e al suo ultimo lavoro solista, Harry’s House. Lui, impegnato in tour, non era presente ma ha ringraziato con un video. Per l’ex One Direction, una carriera con un successo sempre più evidente…

Nicki Minaj, oltre al Vanguard Award, è stata premiata in ulteriori categorie, a sottolineare ancora il riscontro del pubblico, fedelissimo negli anni.

I Maneskin hanno vinto la categoria Best Alternative ma non sono riusciti nella doppietta con “Best New Artist” (battuti da Dove Cameron) e puntualmente immortalati dalle telecamere, nel momento dei ringraziamenti della cantante. Nel corso della serata si sono esibiti con il loro ultimo singolo, Supermodel, con Damiano a petto nudo e un paio di pantaloni che mostravano il lato B (sullo stile del video Dirrty di Christina Aguilera, per intenderci). Ma, su Twitter, è scoppiato anche un caso legato alla loro performance per le riprese -durate parecchi secondi- impegnate a riprendere il pubblico e l’esibizione dall’alto, senza avvicinarsi troppo alla performance. In molti hanno parlato di possibile censura…

Censura che non è mancata nel corso della cerimonia trasmessa su Mtv: dai Red Hot Chili Peppers a Nicki Minaj, l’audio si è misteriosamente (?) spento quando le parolacce prendevano il sopravvento, impedendo così di sentire il discorso integrale. E su questo, non c’è alcun dubbio…
