Ariana Grande sa cantare. Lo so che molti di voi lo avranno pensato sin dai suoi esordi, nel 2013, ma spesso le divette del pop lasciano assai perplessi e l’autotune è veramente essenziale per la buona riuscita di certi dischi da consumo massiccio. Non è così per la giovane popstar nata su Nickelodeon e in questo video di Love Me Harder, pubblicato in sordina qualche giorno fa, lo dimostra in maniera impeccabile.

Nella versione acustica di Love Me Harder Ariana Grande canta solo voce e chitarra assieme ai The Weeknd e il risultato è davvero notevole: passino le smorfiette da sforzo sul viso durante l’esibizione, ma miss Grande sa dove mettere le corde vocali. Altro discorso per la calda voce black dei The Weeknd, che affronta con naturalezza estrema le sue parti mentre la chitarra acustica accompagna l’inedita jam session filmata in elegantissimo bianco e nero.

Ariana Grande sarà anche una diva antipatica, ma il 2014 è stato un po’ il suo anno: premiata agli MTV EMA 2014, singoli di successo a partire da Problem col featuring di Iggy Azalea o Break Free feat. Zedd, l’album My Everything che ha raggiunto la numero uno di Billboard e un posto di diritto nella lista delle popstar più amate al mondo.
