Billboard Music Awards 2014, Robin Thicke canterà l’inedito “Get Her Back” dedicato alla moglie

Robin Thicke sta disperatamente cercando di riconquistare il rapporto con la moglie ed evitare la separazione, come annunciato qualche mese fa. Non è un mistero che il rapporto tra i due stia attraversando una forte crisi e loro stessi avevano confessato di essere sul punto di chiudere la loro relazione. Poi, poco dopo, il cantante ha iniziato a fare qualche passo indietro, con dichiarazioni d’amore alla compagna, Paula Patton, come tentativo per ricucire e salvare il proprio matrimonio.

E dopo diverse parole d’amore pubblicamente espresse durante i suoi concerti, Thicke ha deciso di scrivere proprio una canzone dedicata a lei, un inedito che presenterà ai prossimi Billboard Music Awards 2014. Nel testo, c’è un’aperta ammissione dei suoi errori, delle sue mancanze e debolezze: avrebbe dovuto baciarla di più, starle più accanto, avere cura di lei per tutta la vita.

Se funzionerà o meno non è dato saperlo, ad oggi. Ma ascolteremo il pezzo -decisamente ben diverso dalla celebre Blurred Lines- fa pochi giorni, direttamente sul palco dei Billboard 2014 che vedrà salire sul palco, oltre a Robin, anche Shakira, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Imagine Dragons, Jennifer Lopez, Lorde e Miranda Lambert.
