Glee, Naya Rivera NON è stata licenziata dalla Columbia Records

Naya Rivera non è stata scaricata dalla sua casa discografica, come precisato da un comunicato stampa da parte dello staff dell’attrice. Ecco le parole che smentiscono il rumour lanciato da Billboard:

Eventuali voci o dichiarazioni fatte su Naya Rivera licenziata da Glee o scaricata dalla sua casa discografica sono categoricamente false. Qualcuno ha ovviamente lo scopo di danneggiare il buon nome di Naya e i media stanno fallendo il loro dovere responsabile di verificare le loro fonti e verificare ciò che è vero e ciò che non lo è. Gli avvocati di Naya sono pronti a prendere qualsiasi azione legale per far rispettare e proteggere i diritti della sua assistita”.

Naya Rivera scaricata dalla Columbia Records?

Naya Rivera non sta passando una fase particolarmente felice della sua carriera professionale. Sembra infatti, come rivelato dai cugini di Tvblog, che l’attrice non comparirà nella prossima stagione di Glee che tra i motivi di questa decisione ci siano state discussioni con i produttori della serie tv e con la protagonista Lea Michele, con la quale non avrebbe mai legato nel corso degli anni. Un ulteriore litigio, avrebbe portato a decidere di limitare il ruolo di Santana nella storia. E i fan probabilmente non gradiranno.

Le cose non vanno bene nemmeno in campo musicale perché la Columbia Records avrebbe interrotto il rapporto di lavoro iniziato nel 2011. Nonostante il legame con la casa discografica, in ben tre anni non è mai stato rilasciato un album solista della Rivera. E’ uscito solamente un singolo, Sorry, pubblicato a settembre 2013 ma dal risultato commerciale disastroso: le vendite, ad oggi, si aggirano intorno alle 34.000 copie (in America!) e il brano non è nemmeno entrato nella Billboard Hot 100.

Per tutti questi motivi, ora Naya rischia di trovarsi con diversi punti interrogativi sia nel capo della recitazione sia in quello musicale.
