Dopo la lista personale dei migliori album italiani del 2010, è il momento di parlare di quella relativa agli album internazionali. Come il 2009, anche il 2010 è stato un’anno pieno zeppo di buone uscite, alcune veramente ottime, ma ancora una volta è probabilmente mancato il grande capolavoro assoluto… aspetto questo, che potrebbe assumere connotazioni

Dopo la lista personale dei migliori album italiani del 2010, è il momento di parlare di quella relativa agli album internazionali. Come il 2009, anche il 2010 è stato un’anno pieno zeppo di buone uscite, alcune veramente ottime, ma ancora una volta è probabilmente mancato il grande capolavoro assoluto… aspetto questo, che potrebbe assumere connotazioni diverse negli anni a venire.

Fra le cose migliori sicuramente i due album simbolo della “rivoluzione indie ->mainstream”, “High Violet” dei The National e “The Suburbs” degli Arcade Fire, mentre con “Have One on Me” e “The ArchAndroid”, Joanna Newsom e Janelle Monáe hanno (ri)dimostrato che anche il gentil sesso è in grado di fare grandissimi dischi, senza scadere nel porno-trash. Dopo tanti anni, ancora ottime cose anche dal mondo hip-hop (“My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” di Kanye West su tutti) e metal (Agalloch & co). L’elettronica meno scontata ha trovato molti consensi grazie a Flying Lotus e Four Tet, senza dimenticare tutti i micro-movimenti che hanno in qualche modo caratterizzato il 2010… il summer fuzz-pop, la witch house, la chillwave e tante altre sperimentazioni che hanno portato qualcosa di nuovo nel mondo musicale.
