Fiona Apple: “The Idler Wheel” è il titolo del nuovo album in uscita a giugno

Per ovvie ragioni di spazio, quello che leggete nel titolo del post non è il nome completo del nuovo album di Fiona Apple, ma – con buona probabilità – quello che verrà utilizzato più spesso. Come nel caso di “When the Pawn…” (il cui titolo completo era un intero poema che vi riportiamo per comodità dopo il salto), anche questo quarto, attesissimo lavoro in studio ha in realtà un nome piuttosto esteso. Prendete fiato.

“The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do”, questo il nome completo, comunicato dalla stessa Fiona sulla sua pagina Facebook con tanto di immagine del titolo scritto a mano su un foglio che potete vedere a inizio post. Voci di corridoio attribuite ad insider della Epic, sostengono inoltre che l’album sarà nei negozi nel mese di giugno.

Intanto Fiona Apple sta per iniziare un mini-tour statunitense di sette date. La speranza è che durante i live si lasci ‘sfuggire’ qualche anticipazione da “The Idler Wheel”… vi terremo aggiornati.
