Grammy 2014, nomination: Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Bruno Mars e Daft Punk tra i candidati

In diretta dall’America, ecco le nomination rivelate durante la serata. Finora, numerosi pronostici di Billboard sono stati indovinati. A partire da Katy Perry, candidata con Roar nella categoria “Song Of The Year”. Per lei una sorta di rivalsa, è la prima volta e si dovrà scontrare con altri rivali davvero agguerriti. Taylor Swift conferma il successo assoluto del suo ultimo album, Red. Presenti anche i Daft Punk e Pink con Nate Ruess. L’artista più nominato è stato Jay Z con nove candidature, seguito da Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, e Justin Timberlake con sette e Drake con cinque.

Grammy 2014, le previsioni

Questa notte in Italia, alle 22 in America, andrà in onda lo speciale “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night” che rivelerà i nomi egli artisti in gara per la prossima edizione dei premi.

Billboard ha provato a stilare una serie di possibili candidature. Ci fidiamo? Ecco quelli che potrebbero essere i nomi annunciati nella prossime ore per le categorie più importanti: Grammy Awards – Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year e Best New Artist

Album of the Year

L’arco temporale per essere nominati è da ottobre dell’anno scorso a settembre del 2013. Per questo motivo c’è speranza di poter vedere Red di Taylor Swift insieme a The Heist di Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Buone possibilità anche per “Unorthodox Jukebox” di Bruno Mars e per il favorito Justin Timberlake che è uscito con due album nel corso degli ultimi mesi. Quasi impossibile che non sia presente. Infine, anche “Nothing Was The Same” di Drake, “Yeezus” di Kanye West, “Magna Carta… Holy Grail” di Jay z e persino J. Cole con “Born Sinner“. La speranza finale? “Random Access Memories” dei Daft Punk.

Record of the year

“Royals” di Lorde ha sicuramente ottime possibilità. Nel frattempo non scordiamoci Timberlake, Daft Punk e Macklemore & Ryan Lewis con i loro pezzi, “Mirrors“, “Get Lucky” e “Thrift Shop“. Potrebbe esserci anche “Cruise” di Florida Georgia, Bruno Mars con “Locked Out of Heaven”, “Just Give Me a Reason” di Pink feat. Nate Ruess. Ma in molti scommettono su “Roar” di Katy Perry E’ la sua unica possibilità dal momento che Roar è uscito oltre il periodo calcolato per l’edizione 2014 dei Grammy Awards

Song of the Year

Sembrano scontati “Royals” di Lorde e “Mirrors” di Justin Timberlake. Ma ottime possibilità anche per “Same Love” di Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. E vogliamo dimenticare forse “I Knew You Were Trouble” o “Radioactive“?

Qui sono favorite le nomination degli Imagine Dragons, Alabama Shakes. Anche in questa categoria ci sono molte aspettative per Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Ma attenzione a non sottovalutare Ariana Grande, HAIM, Capital Cities, Icona Pop e Of Monsters and Men…
