MTV Video Music Awards 2018: tutto quello che c’è da sapere sullo show di stanotte

New York si prepara ad ospitare gli MTV Video Music Awards 2018 di stasera, 20 agosto: ecco come seguire lo spettacolo in tv e tutti gli ospiti dell’evento.

Il Radio City Music Hall di New York si prepara ad ospitare questa sera, 20 agosto, gli MTV Video Music Awards 2018, la più attesa manifestazione musicale che ogni anno celebra i videoclip più belli del musicbitz statunitense ed internazionale.

La cerimonia dei VMAS’s di quest’anno, vedrà salire sul palco la crème de la crème del pop, del rap e dell’elettronica in circolazione. Ad aprire lo show sarà la rapper Cardi B, da poco diventata mamma della piccola Kulture Kiari Cephus, avuta dal marito Offset. Insieme a lei, fra le altre, anche Jennifer Lopez: l’artista di origine portoricana riceverà per l’occasione il “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award”.

Ad aggiungersi alla lista dei performers, inoltre,  Ariana Grande, Aerosmith, Shawn Mendes, Logic con Ryan Tedder, Nicki Minaj, che ritornerà ai “VMAs” con una performance speciale presentata da PEPSI®, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Panic! At the Disco, che presenteranno il brano High Hopes dal loro ultimo sesto album, e Maluma Cone confermato da Viacom, nel corso della serata si svolgerà anche un tributo alla regina del soul Aretha Franklin, scomparsa lo scorso 16 agosto dopo una lunga battaglia contro il cancro.

All’1 di notte (orario italiano), vi ricordiamo, si svolgerà il red carpet. Ospiti d’eccezione del tappeto rosso saranno Backstreet Boys, Bazzi e Bryce Vine, mentre la rappresentante dell’Italia ai VMA’S 2018 sarà la peperina Elettra Lamborghini, da mesi in cima alle classifiche italiane grazie al singolo Pem Pem.

A contendersi i premi più importanti, fra gli altri, i The Carters (Jay-Z e Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Drake e Bruno Mars. A dominare la lista dei nominati, che trovate qui sotto al completo, la rapper Cardi B con ben 10 nomination totali.


Mtv Video Music Awards 2018 | Dove seguirli in diretta

In Italia lo show sarà trasmesso solo su MTV (in esclusiva su Sky canale 130) in diretta dalle 2.00 del mattino (all’1 di notte partirà il red carpet). Gli MTV VMA’s 2018 saranno inoltre disponibili in streaming per tutti gli abbonati Sky tramite il servizio SkyGo e anche su NowTv, previa iscrizione alla piattaforma: quest’ultima vi concede 14 giorni di prova, scaduti i quali potrete continuare ad avere accesso ai contenuti con un abbonamento di 9,99 euro al mese. Domani, martedì 21 agosto alle 21.00, i VMA’S 2018 verranno trasmessi su MTV in versione sottotitolata.

Oltre ai performers già annunciati, fra i presentatori della serata, che consegneranno i celebri “Moonman” (o, per meglio dire, i Moonperson) troviamo Blake Lively, Kevin Hart, Anna Kendrick, KYLE, Lenny Kravitz, Liam Payne, Backstreet Boys, Rita Ora, Shay Mitchell e Tiffany Haddish.
