Oasis, Wonderwall: testo, traduzione in italiano e curiosità sulla canzone

Wonderwall è una delle canzoni più famose degli Oasis, estratta come terzo singolo da (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, album uscito nel 1995. Il brano è scritto da Noel Gallagher ed è l’unico pezzo degli Oasis ad essere entrato nella top 10 dei singoli negli Stati Uniti dove ha ottenuto il disco d’oro come certificazione.

Wonderwall, il muro delle meraviglie, è una parola nonsense, priva di significato reale ma scelta come omaggio voluto a George Harrison, chitarrista dei Beatles, che così aveva intitolato una delle sue produzioni.

Non so da dove provengano gli accordi e ricordo la cosa di Harrison. Ricordo che “you’re my wishing stone” non suonava bene. Dove abitavo avevo un poster di Wonderwall. E così pensai: “You’re my wonderwall. Suona fantastico. Nessuno saprà cosa significhi
