Danger Mouse & Sparklehorse: “Dark Night of the Soul”, dirige David Lynch

Attenzione a questa uscita discografica. Si tratta di un progetto molto particolare ideato da Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley) e dai Sparklehorse (grande band di fine anni ’90).

“Dark Night of the Soul”, così si chiama, è un album pieno di ospiti di altissimo livello. Un po’ di nomi? Iggy Pop, Frank Black (Pixies), Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips), James Mercer (The Shins), Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Jason Lytle (dei compianti Grandaddy), Nina Persson (Cardigans e A Camp) e Vic Chesnutt

Il tutto si trasformerà in un “progetto visuale” concepito e diretto dal grande David Lynch che a quanto pare si tradurrà in un piccolo cortometraggio per ogni brano e in un libretto contenente più di 100 foto. “Dark Night of the Soul” dovrebbe uscire entro breve ma al momento è tutto avvolto in un alone di mistero.
