Dopo il risultato poco incoraggiante che ha ottenuto con il suo ultimo album “Heartbreak on Hold” uscito il 04 giugno 2012, Alexandra Burke si è rimboccata le maniche ed è andata avanti.

E’ uscita pochi giorni fa la notizia che la cantante inglese è in studio a registrare il nuovo album. Un LP che stando a quello che ha dichiarato Alexandra, sarà totalmente diverso rispetto ai lavori precedenti. Nell’attesa di avere ulteriori notizie riguardo alla nuova era, la cantante ha deciso di farci un “regalo” e di pubblicare per la festività natalizia un mini EP intitolato “Christmas Gift” disponibile su Itunes dal 23 dicembre 2013 totalmente gratuito , con all’interno due pezzi (Silent Night e Christmas Time).

I brani, sono due classici della musica natalizia e Alexadra Burke dimostra come il suo talento sia ultimamente troppo sottovalutato. Registrati dal vivo, si sente tutta la passione e l’entusiasmo che mette nell’interpretare questo due brani, confermando la mia idea: lei dovrebbe cantare questo genere musicale e dedicarsi magari a un sound più soul in stile ballad piuttosto che dance e Pop.
