Cher Lloyd, Sorry I’m late rimandato al 2014

Cher Lloyd non è affatto entusiasta della decisione. Parliamo del rinvio del suo nuovo album dal titolo decisamente profetico: Sorry I’m Late.

Previsto in uscita entro la fine del 2013, il disco è stato invece rimandato ai primi mesi del 2014. Una scelta che ha indispettito la cantante, come dichiarato a Larry King:

“Il mio album è stato respinto e io non sono felice. E’ tutto fatto, ma attualmente sarò in studio per il resto di questa settimana per cercare di trovare un po’ di magia. Doveva uscire a novembre, adesso penso che uscirà nei primi mesi del prossimo anno”

Delusione pubblica per un ritorno a lungo atteso e ancora rimandato. Almeno per qualche mese.

Cher Lloyd, Sorry I’m late è il nuovo album

Si intitola Sorry I’m Late il secondo disco in studio di Cher Lloyd. A rivelarlo è stata la diretta interessata in un’intervista a Billboard.

L’album dovrebbe uscire entro la fine dell’anno e il nome scelto è stato raccontato così dalla giovane cantante:

“Il titolo ha due significati. E ‘passato molto tempo da quando ho effettivamente fatto qualcosa di nuovo … Insomma, ho trascorso un sacco di tempo cercando di capire chi sono. Penso che tutti passino attraverso quella fase, quel momento nella tua vita quando inizi a pensare “Chi sono? Cosa mi piacerebbe fare e perché voglio farlo?”

L’album di debutto di Cher Lloyd, Sticks + Stones, è stato rilasciato negli Usa lo scorso ottobre e conteneva il singolo -riuscito ad entrare nella top ten- “Want U Back”.

In “Sorry I’m Late” sarà contenuto il primo brano inedito “I Wish” con il featuring di T.I

Cher ha poi anche ammesso il secondo significato del titolo:

“E’ passato molto tempo, lo è, e mi dispiace davvero di essere letteralmente un po’ in ritardo!”
