Cure, la cover di Hello Goodbye dei Beatles (Video)

Il 17 novembre 2014 uscirà il disco tributo ai Beatles definitivo, The Art of McCartney. Conterrà trentaquattro tracce del repertorio della band di John Lennon e soci reinterpretate per l’occasione da grandissimi nomi del panorama musicale mondiale da Bob Dylan ai Kiss passando per Alice Cooper e tanti altri. Tra questi altri, spuntano anche i Cure a sei anni di distanza dal loro ultimo ingresso in una sala di registrazione. La loro versione di Hello Goodbye, questo il brano a loro affidato all’interno del progetto, è già disponibile online. E potevamo tenervene all’oscuro?

Nel video che trovate in apertura, pubblicato in anteprima dal Guardian, Robert Smith e soci interpretano la hit dei Beatles accompagnati alla tastiera da James che non è un James qualunque bensì il figlio di Paul McCartney. Il risultato finale non vi deluderà come, probabilmente, non farà neppure il disco. Anzi, se aggiungiamo a questa news l’annuncio del greatest hits di David Bowie (la cui uscita è prevista sempre per novembre 2014), verrebbe da dire che non ci sono più dubbi: quest’anno Natale arriva con un mese d’anticipo.
