Duran Duran denunciano il loro fan club

Qualcuno vorrà forse ancora sposare Simon Le Bon ma sicuramente non sarà nessuno di coloro che gestisce il fan club ufficiale dei Duran Duran. Sembra assurdo a leggersi ma comprensibile e intuibile dopo la decisione presa dalla band: citarli in giudizio.

No, non hanno scoperto che hanno trasformato la pagina in “We Love One Direction” ma alla base c’è un serio motivo economico. Secondo la causa depositata alla Cook County Circuit Court, nel 2010 il gruppo sarebbe entrato in contratto con il fan club aprendo una sorta di accordo per renderlo ufficiale e, in cambio, ottenere circa il 75 per cento dei profitti del Merchandising ottenuto dalle vendite. Eppure, in base a quanto scoperto, il gruppo ha accusato di non aver mai ricevuto alcun introito o entrata ottenuta.

I gestori de fan club non hanno rilasciato, ad oggi, nessun commento sulla vicenda. Matrimonio? Nozze? No, qui il titolo più appropriato pare dover essere “Pagherò Simon Le Bon”. In tribunale?
