Fall Out Boy, Save Rock & Roll: nell’album canzoni con Courtney Love ed Elton John

Era il 2009 e i Fall Put Boy annunciavano una pausa della band. A distanza di quattro anni, ecco alcune anticipazioni sul nuovo album, Save Rock & Roll

Fall-Out-Boy

I Fall Out Boy stanno ufficialmente ritornando sulle scene musicali. Il loro ultimo lavoro è la raccolta Believers Never Die: Greatest Hits, promossa con il singolo “Alpha Dog”. C’è poi stato, finalmente, il primo brano inedito, My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up), che vede la collaborazione con il rapper 2 Chainz.

Proprio a Billboard, la band aveva anticipato la presenza di numerosi ospiti nel loro nuovo album, rivelando al pubblico la scelta di altre featuring nel disco. E alcune sembrano essere già state rivelate.

Pochi giorni fa, il bassista Pete Wentz aveva lanciato il gioco/quesito su Twitter:

“Indovinate quale cantante dai capelli biondi abbiamo inserito nel disco”

I followers hanno iniziato a lanciare qualche idea. Chi optava per Madonna, chi per Pink o addirittura Miley Cyrus. Ma la risposta è stata data, in seguito, proprio da Wentz, con un chiarissimo messaggio e un video

“It’s Courtney B*tch!”

Non solo lei, Courtney Love, nella tracklist ma anche Elton John, grazie allo scatto di Patrick Stump -sempre via social network- insieme al cantante inglese e con l’hashtag #saverockandroll.

Sono questi, fino ad oggi, le collaborazioni confermate, in attesa di eventuali rivelazioni nelle prossime settimane. C’è ancora tempo, poiché l’uscita del nuovo album è prevista il prossimo 16 aprile 2013.
