Katy Perry canta Roar per Barack Obama alla Casa Bianca (video)

Katy Perry ha fatto una piccola deviazione al suo Prismatic Tour. Una tappa decisamente diversa, con una performance alla Casa Bianca. L’occasione è nata per gli Special Olympics, con ospiti di alto profilo, tra cui Maria Shriver (la cui madre, Eunice Kennedy Shriver ha fondato l’organizzazione). Prima della sua esibizione, un’introduzione dello stesso presidente Barack Obama.

Il Presidente degli Stati Uniti ha definito la cantante “una delle sue persone preferite”. Insomma, Barack è un Katycat.

“Amo Katy Perry. Lei è semplicemente una persona meravigliosa. Ho appena incontrato sua mamma e ora so perché lei è una persona così fantastica.”

Già due anni fa, Katy aveva cantato per il Presidente e una volta rieletto, si è esibita in “Teenage Dream” durante il Kids Inaugural Concer. Insieme a lei, si era unita anche la figlia di Obama, Malia. In apertura post il video della sua performance con una versione più soft della celebre “Roar”
