Kim Sori, Dual Life: Video, audio e testo

Negli ultimi anni gli artisti della K-Pop music hanno avuto una svolta notevole nel mercato musicale, facendo incuriosire il pubblico di ogni età. L’exploit maggiore l’abbiamo avuto quest’anno con la hit estiva Gangnam Style di PSY. Io da fan della musica K-Pop seguo molto gli artisti che cantanto questo genere musicale.

Oggi volevo proporvi Kim Sori, cantante e ballerina, nota nel suo paese per aver avuto il ruolo principale nel musical “Ballerina Who Loved A B-boy“, poi successivamente dopo aver rilasciato un paio di singoli e un mini album “HIP GIRL” nel 2010, la cantante sembra abbia deciso di sorprendere nuovamente il suo pubblico.

Kim torna dopo 2 anni di assenza dalle scene musicali e questa volta con un look del tutto nuovo e con nuovo brano che ha tutta l’aria di volere conquistare non soltanto l’Asia. Il singolo è prodotto da Beatamin ed è un brano dance-pop con un ritornello che richiama lo stile e il sound degli anni 80-90.

Nel video musicale che accompagna il brano e che potrete vedere alla fine del post, si nota nelle coreografie, un forte richiamo a Madonna e a Michael Jackson. Un brano che risulta piacevole e con un ritornello molto radio friendly. Sicuramente Kim Sori e il suo entourage hanno puntato tutto sull’essere più commerciale possibile per conquistare maggior visibilità e pubblico.

Riuscirà Dual Life ad avere lo stesso fortunato risultato ottenuto da PSY? O rimarrà solo un brano che pochi in Italia e non solo conosceranno?
