Miley Cyrus ne ha combinata un’altra delle sue. Tranquilli, questa volta non si è messa a leccare peni gonfiabili giganti sul palco e non si è lanciata in inni a favore della marijuana. Sorpresa di tutte le sorprese, non ha nemmeno indirizzato frasi al vetriolo verso suoi ex fidanzati. Questa volta davanti al pubblico dell’Odissey Arena di Belfast si è limitata a cantare…There is a light that never goes out degli Smiths.

Lo storico brano della band di Morrissey, finito anche nella colonna sonora dell’antiromanticissimo film (500) giorni insieme, è stato intonato dall’ex Hannah Montana all’improvviso, tra una We can’t Stop e una Wrecking Ball qualunque. Prima di gridare allo scandalo, però, provate a dare un’occhiata al video in apertura. Poi griderete di peggio.

Cordialità a parte, il risultato effettivo è meno peggio rispetto al previsto. Anche se la sempre più ribelle Miley ha reso la canzone una specie di nenia monotona, quantomeno ha avuto il buongusto di non steccare. Poi c’è anche da dire che il brano, per quanto meraviglioso e leggendario, non sia già di suo un’esplosione di ritmo ed energia. Che Morrissey mi perdoni per averlo scritto.
