Oscar 2014, Ed Sheeran “snobbato” con I see Fire come Miglior Canzone originale

Sono state rivelate le candidature ufficiali per la prossima edizione degli Oscar e, tra queste, anche la rosa finale dei brani scelti come “Miglior canzone originale“. Non c’è Taylor Swift, manca Lana Del Rey, presenti invece gli U2 con “Ordinary Love” già trionfatori con un Golden Globe tra le mani.

Ma tra coloro che non hanno potuto vedere il proprio sogno realizzato, c’è anche Ed Sheeran, il cantante inglese che presto pubblicherà il suo nuovo disco. Lui aveva scritto e interpretato un brano per la colonna sonora del film “Lo Hobbit: La desolazione di Smaug”. Ma anche “I see fire” – questo il titolo del pezzo- presente nei 75 pezzi papabili, è stato escluso dalla corsa finale per gli Academy Awards.

E così, il cantautore ha semplicemente commentato il tutto così, via Twitter, ritwittato dai fan oltre duemile volte e aggiunto tra i preferiti da 4000 persone circa:
