Sanremo 2015, Ed Sheeran: Sing e Thinking out loud

Ed Sheeran è stato il super ospite internazionale della finale della 65esima edizione del Festival di Sanremo.

Il cantautore britannico ha eseguito due singoli di successo estratti dall’album X.

La prima canzone è stata Sing. Dopo la prima esibizione, Sheeran ha parlato, tra le altre cose, di questa hit, per la quale ha lavorato con Pharrell Williams, e del singolo Thiking out loud, seconda canzone della serata:

E’ stato divertente con Pharrell Williams. Lui è una persona diversa, ha una sua idea di come deve essere il sound. Suonare nei locali e suonare negli stadi non è la stessa cosa, negli stadi ci sono più persone! E’ divertente. Voglio suonare negli stadi come suonavo nei locali ed è quello che cerco di fare. La mia musica al centro. Thinking out loud è la canzone più ascoltata a San Valentino? E’ una cosa che mi fa molto piacere.

Ed Sheeran sarà il superospite internazionale della serata finale del 65esimo Festival di Sanremo che andrà in onda su Rai 1 questa sera.

Il 23enne cantautore britannico si trova attualmente in classifica nel nostro paese con Thinking out loud, singolo estratto dall’album X, pubblicato nel giugno 2014.

Ed Sheeran è il super ospite della serata finale di Sanremo 2015, in onda sabato 14 febbraio 2015.

Il cantante inglese vanta oltre 6 milioni di copie vendute in tutto il mondo in soli 6 mesi dall’uscita del suo ultimo album “X “. Non solo è il disco più venduto del 2014, ma è anche uno dei soli 3 artisti al mondo ad essere stato in testa alla classifica di vendita inglese per più di 12 settimane negli ultimi 20 anni.

Ha conquistato persino gli Stati Uniti con ben 3 nomination ai prossimi Grammy Awards. Altre 4 nomination se le è guadagnate ai Brit Awards, che si terranno il 25 febbraio alla O2 Arena di Londra. Il singolo attuale, “Thinking out loud” – terzo estratto da “x” – è il pezzo più ascoltato al mondo.
