Snow Patrol, nuovo album nel 2015

L’ultimo album degli Snow Patrol risale al 2011 ed era Fallen Empires. Pubblicato a novembre di quell’anno, il sesto disco in studio della rockband britannica, ha raggiunto il primo posto delle classifiche degli album più venduti in Irlanda e nei Paesi Bassi e un dignitoso terzo posto nel Regno Unito.

I fan speravano di poter avere il seguito dell’album già nel 2014 ma a smorzare questa illusione è stato proprio Gary Lightbody che smentito l’uscita imminente di un loro lavoro:

Non ci sarà un album degli Snow Patrol quest’anno, ci sarà l’anno prossimo

Ha inoltre aggiunto di essere davvero dispiaciuto all’idea che non possa essere pubblicato in tempo per festeggiare il ventesimo anno di formazione del gruppo. L’ultimo loro inedito è “I Won’t Let You Go” e fa parte della colonna sonora del film Divergent.
