Un performance davvero spettacolare quella che è andata in onda nella puntata speciale di The Voice Usa 2016, in onda il 21 agosto sulla Nbc dopo la cerimonia di chiusura della Olimpiadi. I quattro coach hanno cantato, insieme, il celebre brano degli Aerosmith, Dream On, del 1973 per una performance apertamente dedicata a Christina Grimmie, ex concorrente e finalista del talent show, uccisa da un fan dopo un suo concerto ad Orlando. Nel finale, falsetto impeccabile di Adam Levine sotto lo sguardo compiaciuto dei suoi tre colleghi. E’ la prima edizione (l’undicesima, in ordine cronologico) che presenta due giudici femminili, insieme, seduti sulle poltrone rosse: Alicia Keys e Miley Cyrus.
